Q. I can’t seem to get an appointment for several weeks. Is there any way I can get my saddle fitted sooner ?

A. Yes there is.  We allocate time each week at one of two places in the Perth metro area Sawyers Valley and Oakford, where you are able to bring your horse to us.

You could also use one of our SaddleFit Australia Preferred Fitters, who have been trained by Lou Collins and may be available to come out at an earlier date than she would.

Q. I can’t seem to find my suburb on your list of mobile service areas.

A. It might be that you live outside the boundaries of our designated areas.  You can come to us at one of the places in the Perth metro area that we allocate time to each week, Sawyers Valley and Oakford.   Occasionally we do trips to areas outside the Perth metro, which will be published on our Facebook page.  Email us at admin@saddlefitaustralia.com.au to let us know if you’d be interested in one of these, and the suburb that your horse is located in.

Q. I seem to fall between two areas. In fact, my suburb is listed in two areas. What do I do ?

Lucky you !  You can book an appointment in either of these areas.

Q. My horse can't travel, how do I get his saddle fitted ?

Never fear, if your horse lives within the boundaries of one of our mobile service areas, we can come to him.  If he lives further out than we currently go, email us at admin@saddlefitaustralia.com.au and we can let you know if we’re planning a day in your area soon.

Q. Why do I have to pay up-front ? This isn’t what I used to do before.

A. We designed our booking system so that the whole process would be automated from start to finish, enabling you to request an appointment time, make payment and receive confirmation within a matter of minutes.

We wanted to offer a secure, widely used payment system such as Paypal that offered buyer and seller complete peace of mind. When you pay with Paypal, you can use your credit card, debit card or Paypal balance.  Mobile Eftpos facilities for processing payments at the conclusion of appointments have shortcomings, as many of the areas we cover have variable mobile coverage.  Payments taken after the appointment by EFT, require administrative support to generate invoices and follow up on outstanding amounts.

The bottom line is, this business is run by someone who is great at saddle fitting but widely acknowledged as being terrible at admin.  We made a bold decision and took all this out of her hands, and gave it to someone more capable to do …. a computer.

Q. The day I want isn’t available. What do I do now ?

A. We try our very best to be available when our customers need us, but sometimes that’s just not possible as we have many customers, spread over a very large geographical area.  We’re thrilled you want to use our services, and hope you can find another appointment time that suits.

Q. I don't have a Paypal account. How can I pay ?

A. We use Paypal to receive money.  You don’t necessarily have to have a Paypal account to pay us.  You can use your credit card, debit card or if you have one, your own Paypal account balance.
